Day 6: more awesome hiking!

On our 6th day in Snowmass, the Rockies gave to me: a gorgeous hike in Pitkin County.

I don't think I can keep up with the rhyming so we will skip ahead to some pictures.

Family picture by a stream at The Grottos in Aspen.

There were amazing ice caves that were incredibly tempting yet treacherous for the under-18 crowd, but Bobby led the way to help the kids climb down to touch the ice and start a snowball fight on June 18th.

Picture of the 16-week pregnant lady climbing into the crevasse with a camera to get some good shots. It was unreal how cool it was, literally! At least 10-15 degrees cooler than the ground directly above.

Jenny made us an awesome beef fajita lunch by a river at the end of our hike. As always, it was spectacular.

We saw 3 deer today, all alive! Though as Danny pointed out, one almost died running across the street in front of Jenny's car. We then saw a group of Elk hanging out in a field by the road from Aspen back to Snowmass. Also, in the "who took more pictures today?" contest, Bobby and I tied at exactly 210 each. Yes!
